News: New Faces rescues Cosmos against Santa Barbara - 06/13/09

It was a good win. After a humble start from the top order, middle order came to rescue. Good Innings from Randeep, Jeevika and Priyantha rescued Cosmos and Cosmos was able to post a respectable total of around 250.

Randeep and Jeevika were playing their first game of the season.

After conceding 100 runs in the first session, Cosmos fought back to finish the opposition in the second session. Good Old Amar gave us the break through and ended up with 4 wickets. Very good spells by Randeep and David aka IamDavidMartel.com .. :-)

Improvements Needed

Top order, especially the one down batsman needs to hang in there for a longer time.

Stick to basics when it comes to bowling changes - I think I should not have opened the bowling with Inder.

Cant afford to give away 100 runs per session.

I, as a captain feel more control of things when I am fielding in the inner circle - so I will try to implement that

Man of the Match - Jeevika - for his temperament and good knock of 85.

Game 4 - San Diego - We are coming (to San Diego I meant... :-))
